FEES
Our fees are not refundable. While Consular staff will give you as much advice as they can, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are obtaining the correct service. If you are unsure, you may wish to take legal advice before booking the service. Please note that fees are subject to change without notice. In line with the changes to notarial and documentary services outlined in the Consular Strategy 2013-2016, not all services on the Consular Fee table are available at all British Embassies, High Commissions and Consulates. Our Consular Staff will be able to tell you which services they are able to offer or signpost you to an alternative service provider.
HOW TO PAY
We accept RON in cash (except for birth and death registrations where we can also accept card payments in GBP).
BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
Please note that you will have to pass through Security upon arrival at the Embassy. You should expect your belongings to be checked, and you will have to leave your telephone with the Security Officer. Please do not bring laptops or other electronic devices. Please arrive in advance of your appointment.
If you need to cancel or modify your booking, you will be able to do so by following the link in the confirmation e-mail.
DOCUMENTATION
All documents provided must be originals. Also, you must produce a valid passport.
DATA PROTECTION
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office holds and uses data for purposes notified to the Information Commissioner under the Data Protection Act 1998; further information can be found at www.ico.gov.uk . Such personal data may be disclosed to other UK Government Departments and public authorities.
